    Get your site registered with all the search engine and make sure that it is search engine optimised – that is the search engine will pick up certain key words and phrases.

    Secondly, make sure your site is quick to open, easy to use and straightforward. Too complicated and slow not to mention confusing and the punters will switch off. Remember the internet is a commodity in itself. While some people may be loyal to a high st shop or a brand they don’t exhibit the same type of loyalty with the internet.

    Focus on customer care and service, if someone orders something from you bust a gut to get it to them ASAP. People will often pay a premium for good service.

    Advertise and promote your site – through blogging, on other industry/related sites and trade associations etc. The more traffic you drive to your site the better. You might like to consider advertising it on google so that you appear at the top of certain searches. All these things have a cost, but if used properly, a benefit.

    You can use any social network it doesn’t hurt blogging can help too. As the internet grows it just becomes harder to find smaller sites and most people don’t even search anymore thank to apps and once they find a store they aren’t in the discovering mood. They tend to go to big chains.

    Only tip I can give you is keep going at it there is no instant fix to success it can only help build your voice that is your goal but its going to be really tough.

    We would all be successful if there was a proven way to do it, its a game you have chances.
